Westwood Park FC secured an emphatic victory over rivals St James Buffaloes winning 5-1 at home today. Goals came from all over the pitch today as striker Daniel claimed a hat trick with one cracking goal from distance.

The game started well with equal possession and good passing for both teams. Quick thinking by Matthew on the left early in the first half resulted in a precise pass to Daniel who scored.

Good awareness and attacking from Westwood provided two quick goals from Daniel and Lewis making the score 3-0 at half time. Persistent attacking from St James paid off in the second half resulting in a penalty which they failed to capitalize on.

St James pulled one goal back but Westwood deserved and enjoyed their victory by scoring twice late on with goals from Anla & Daniel. A good overall team performance from all – well done Westwood.
