What a start to the season! A game played in very good spirit and in beautiful sunny conditions. The game started slow and the first half was tightly contested. WPFC took the lead through a goal from Ainle and on the stroke of half time the Bears fought back to score an equaliser. A little chat at half-time about the need to pass and move into space paid dividends in the second half with WPFC taking control of the game. Some excellent passing of the ball lead to the team scoring five well worked goals from Owen (2), Cian (2) and Dan (1). Overall it was an excellent team performance with great performances all round. Looking forward to next weeks game already!
