St James Buffalos 5 – Westwood Park 1

Immediately from the kick off Daniel was forced to make a quality save. Playing downhill within 5 minutes St James Buffalos were 1 up with a second added just 3 minutes later.

From a throw in St James added a third on 10 minutes. Suddenly Westwood Park woke up and Max had a shoot over the crossbar and Westwood started to play much better.

At the end of the first half Hugo came close with a one on one with the goal keeper who forced it wide.

In the last minute of the first half St James cut through the centre of the pitch and added a 4th goal to make it 4-0 at half time.

In the second half Westwood Park were kicking down hill. St James’ threatened first and Max made a good save.

From a Westwood Park corner Westwood Park pulled 1 back courtesy of an own goal. 4-1.

Westwood Park played far better in the second half with a number of shots on goal with Bradley clattering the crossbar but unfortunately none between the uprights.

With the last kick of the game St James added a 5th to make it 5-1.

Westwood won the friendly after the game 4-2.
