Aylesbury Tournament Champions!

On Sunday our Under 9 team battled to an absolutely fantastic victory at the Aylesbury Tournament. Congratulations to the squad: Luke, Charlie, James, Luca, Ainle, Cian, Cameron, Dapo and William. Congrats also to the coaches, Graham and Alan. And a hearty cheer for the parents who braved a long, wet and windy day on the touchline.

Graham:

“I think I speak for Alan too when I say how incredibly proud we all were of the boys and their efforts.

All of them were quite simply magnificent all day, playing fantastic football throughout (after a slowish start it has to be said!!). I think it is a testimony to the strength and spirit of them all that they probably played their best game of the whole day in the final itself, with us running out eventual 3-0 winners.

We had nothing but warm comments from every opposition team on how the boys played and how they conducted themselves on the pitch.

They are a great bunch of kids and are a credit to you all.”
